Los Barrios Unidos Community Clinic (LBUCC) offers a comprehensive salary and benefits package that includes:

  • Competitive Salaries and National Health Service Corps and State of Texas loan repayment opportunities.
  • Group Medical Insurance Coverage is effective the first day of the month following 90 days of full or part-time (20 hours +) employment. The Plan includes medical, prescription drugs, vision discount, and other discount programs.
  • Group Dental Insurance Coverage is effective on the first day of the month following 90 days of full-time employment.
  • Life insurance Coverage is effective on the first day of the month following 90 days of full-time employment.
  • Long Term Disability Coverage is effective on the first day of the month following 90 days of full-time employment.
  • Retirement Plan Employees may participate in the 401(k) plan on the first of the month following six months of employment and/or after 500 hours of work. LBUCC will begin to match your contributions at 100% of the first 5% of your compensation. Once participating, you are fully vested.
  • Flexible Spending Account Employees may participate in the plan on the first day of the month following 90 days of service. Pre-taxed flexible spending contributions establish medical expense or dependent care accounts.
  • Employee Assistance Programs Employees and their families are immediately eligible to participate in a program that provides confidential personal counseling, legal information, financial information and other resources and tools for work/life needs.
